Original Item: Purchased sometime in the 1980's in a Brussels Warehouse Sale we got a carton of what turned out to be Original WWI era all steel Belgian M-1916 Bayonet tubular Scabbards for the long bayonet issued in WW1 with the Mauser 1888 Rifle for use in trench warfare

particularly in desert environments such as found in the Royal Italian Army's World War II campaigns in Libya and the Western Desert
