Here we have a very interesting piece of German WWII era memorabilia: a stoneware earthenware lidded cigarette box, which has an eagle insignia on the handle for the lid. It is not an insignia that we can identify, showing an eagle with lightning bolts behind its talons, perched on what looks to be a letter or rune of some type. It was made by Bttger Stoneware, which looks to be a part of Staats Porzellan Manufaktur
