Russia, Imperial. A St. George Cross, Czech Manufacture, C.1920 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac constructed of a card stock( , 3 ). Instituted February 1807 by Tsar Alexander I. Of Czech manufacture, in silvered bronze, a cross pattee with center presenting St. George, reverse is unmarked and unnumbered, measures 36. 5mm (w) x 42. 0mm (h), weighs 12. 4 grams, worn on original ribbon, heavily oxidized, a scarce decoration in near very fine condition.
