An interesting trench art memento, constructed of multiple pieces of lacquered light brown wood, the cover bearing a hand carved edelweiss situated against a pebbled field (achieved with intricate hand punching), opening with a functional swivel hinge to reveal a desiccated edelweiss situated within a custom fitted depression, locking closed with a stud emanating above the flower, unmarked, measuring 5 cm (w) x 8 cm (h), likely carved
