Original U.S. Civil War Sharps Vertical Breech New Model 1859 Military Rifle - Serial 39756 UZI Offered in very good surplusOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is an very nice example of an original New Model 1859 Military Vertical Breech 3 band Rifle in the original . 52 caliber, serial number 39756. The rifle was made in far smaller numbers than the carbine, so finding them is quite rare. This features a later version of the Sharps action with an improved gas seal and vertical breech. Has a nice gray patina on the metal components, with a few traces of past pitting.
