Here is an octagonal barreled Rifled "Kentucky" style rifle, which more correctly is known as a Pennsylvania Rifle. The . 45 caliber heavy octagonal barrel, now smoothbore, is 29" long and the rifle measures 45" in overall length. The percussion lock looks to be a British "Trade" lock, but the maker marking
