The poster reads: CAPE GLOUCESTER Driving towards Tokyo, the 1st Marine Division landed at Cape Gloucester, New Britain Island, on Dec. 26, 1943. Tank led Leathernecks captured the main prize the airdrome in five days. Talasea, last major objective fell March 9th, and the Marines marched on! ENLIST NOW U.
