Original U.S. WWI Remington Mark III Flare Signal Pistol Percusion Muskets During the Battle of GettysburgOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a great example of a World War One Mark III flare pistol made by the Remington Arms Company at their factory in Bridgeport Connecticut between 1915 and 1918. It uses a 10 gauge flare in a 9 inch steel barrel and has a matching serial number in two spots, 596. The top of the barrel reads as follows: MARK III THE REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO. INC. REMINGTON BRIDGEPORT WORKS BRIDGEPORT CONNECTICUT.
