This is a scarcely seen WWII Pioneer Vehicle shovel that still retains its original length handle. This model of shovel was also used during World War I by Imperial German pioneer troops with almost no differences. This example is in very good condition, and unlike most does not look to have been repainted many times. Due to this we can still partially read the markings on the shovel, which are on the upper right
