"The Gun that Won the West!" This fine rifle is in . 38 40 caliber (marked . 38 CAL on the feed block) with a 24" round barrel and full length magazine tube. Features the classic front sight and iconic "buckhorn" rear adjustable sight. The serial number is 183685B denoting the year of manufacture as 1885. The engraving on the top of the barrel is clear, with just a bit of corrosion fading: WINCHESTER'S REPEATING
