George I. Threepence. 1717 #sherborne Some light verdigris in theOlive toned obverse with flashy underlying lustre, the reverse a darker and even tone. Minor field marks, nevertheless an attractive example. This coin was struck for currency, with no Maundy set being available this year. Extremely fine and rare in this grade.
