This is a very nice single shot pocket percussion pistol, made circa 1850 for the U. S. Market, and marked very faintly to RICH'D SMITH LONDON on the top of the barrel. There are however no British proofs on the pistol, or any other marking besides a small logo by the address marking, and serial number 643 on the bottom of the barrel. We believe that this is a U. S. made pistol, retailed by the U. S. agent of Richard
