Original U.S. WWI Model 1910 Bolo Knife by Springfield in WWII Corpsman Scabbard with Belt - dated 1912 Antique Remingtons Action: Flintlock top actionOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice model 1910 Bolo manufactured by the storied Springfield Armory of Springfield, Massachusetts. This model is almost identical to the later model 1917 by Plumb, with the exception of the scabbard catch on the 1910. Also, the 1917 issue were all Parkerized, while the model 1910 was issued in bright steel, with a blued handle. The M 1910 Bolo Knife was adopted to be used for clearing brush and foliage
