The Star of the Order, in silver, a white enamelled five armed star, with a Gold center inscribed in blue enamels, mounted on a ten pointed star base with clusters of faceted rays, the reverse offers a vertical pin with dual stays, reverse center is marked LATTES, measuring 93. 26 mm (h) x 93. 36 mm (w), weighing 122. 9 grams, enamels intact, wear to gilt on the rays, dark patina on the reverse,
