In the following photos, for this linen collar, I've cut one layer of dress-weight (fashion fabric) linen, two layers of silk organza (which will be the inner layers of the "sandwich"), and one layer of lining fabric (in this case I used fine, lightweight handkerchief linen, but China silk, lightweight taffeta, silk satin, or cotton batiste would also work well)
